In class this week as well as doing our usual class work we have been celebrating Bonfire Night. Miss Brophy organised some fun activities which included making some chocolate apples, making some special cake called Parkin and creating some lovely art work. We weighed all the ingredients out and followed the recipe for the Parkin. Even Miss Brophy was super impressed with how well the cake turned out. Some of us tried the treacle but weren’t to keen on it.  Most of us did like the taste of the Parkin and are bringing some home for the grown ups to try. We made some super firework pictures and concentrated really well throughout the afternoon.  Miss Brophy put a “real fire” on the screen for us to see and some of us made a great fire using tissue paper, glue and paint. Hope everyone had a super  and safe Bonfire Night and you are enjoy looking at our pictures.
