Happy New Year everyone...let’s hope 2021 is filled with happiness and fun.

For those of us back in class we have been doing lots of great activities, we have been working hard during our maths and English sessions and today we began a new Science topic looking at animals and their habitats...this will carry on until Easter and we will also look at things which are living and not living. We may even get the chance to plant some seeds next term and watch how they grow when watered and looked after.

It has been very snowy and icy which has looked really pretty but it’s been very slippery so we have been for a few walks around the track  each day and we all walked very carefully and sensibly. It has been lovely to get out into the fresh air and to look at how the trees are changing during this winter season.

Our new leavers hoodies arrived just as we broke up for Christmas and most of us have been wearing them in class. They are very snuggly warm  so great to wear in this cold weather and also look very smart on both staff and pupils.

For those of you learning from home it has been lovely to read about what some of you have been up to via EFL and the photos have been brilliant to see.

Don’t forget we are starting our twice weekly class video calls next week every Monday and Wednesday 1.30 to 2pm so please try to join us...it will be fab to see you all.

Take Care and stay safe. Ms Lea.
