This week 11G have been continuing with looking at Rainforest habitats and to do this we first of all used shoe boxes and painted them brown on the outside then green on the inside. We had lots of fun doing this and there was quite a bit of paint to be cleaned up afterwards.
We will carry on with our Rainforest habitats next week and once finished we will compare them to the Polar habitats that we finished making last week.

Continuing with our Rainforest theme we made crocodiles out of egg boxes and green paint...they looked more friendly than ferocious once finished and the pupils took them home on Friday to show them off.

We also took part in the six star challenge and this also involved some of our home learners as well as our learners in class.
Nathan and Lucas in particular did a fab job with helping to recycle at home andI know that Nathan has also been doing lots of exercise every day.
As part of the challenge we made gorgeous rainbow sun catchers which will look so pretty hung up in a window and we also walked around the track in memory of Sir Tom who sadly died this week but who was a true hero.

On Friday we managed to take advantage of a rare dry afternoon by going outside on the climbing frame..some of us also had yet another walk around the track and it was lovely to get out into the fresh air.

So, just a few bits of what we have been up to this last week...lots of learning and lots of fun as well. Take a look at the photos to see what else we have been doing.

Take care, Ms Lea.
