Yesterday 7A had a fabulous time at Astley hall, looking around the rooms and discovering how people used to live hundreds of years ago.
We talked to the guides who were very interesting and informative and we also got to make some paper houses using glue and scissors.
It was really lovely looking at all of the traditional Christmas decorations and tees that were placed around the hall with lots of twinkling lights.
We then enjoyed our packed lunches outside in the cobbled courtyard whilst keeping warm wrapped up in our winter coats, hats and gloves before going over to the outdoor play area where we spent time swinging, climbing and sliding.
We walked back to school, rosy cheeks and happy with our day out. We are so lucky to be so close to such a beautiful park and hall.
