What a fabulous exciting and fun week 7A have had in the lead up to Christmas with so many varied activities in class. 
 

Our class party day was so much fun with lots of hot and cold food, including chicken nuggets, chips, sausage rolls and sandwiches to name but a few of the yummy foods that we ate.

We then played party games such as pass the parcel, musical statues and musical chairs as well as a few quieter table top games.

The school kitchen staff did us proud with a really yummy Christmas dinner, we all ate together in class and the roast turkey and potatoes were very well received by us all. We had Christmas music playing in the background which certainly added a sense of excitement to the occasion.

As usual we all took part in Christmas jumper day and there were so many colourful and fun jumpers to be seen around school, often accompanied by Santa hats and reindeer antlers.

The secondary department show was a huge success and 7A students did us proud with their rendition of Jingle bells.We enjoyed watching the rest of the show in class via teams and it was a joy to see so many parents/ carers  and friends enjoying the show.

One of our very favourite days was breakfast with Santa when he came into each class accompanied by his two playful elves, and gave out presents to each student who then had the opportunity to have their photo taken with him.  Miss Robertson and Ms Lea in particular found this to be very exciting and enjoyed sitting on Santas knee for a photo shoot.

It was Ms Lea’s 60th birthday this week and we had a fantastic class party, played games and had McDonald’s for lunch before eating lots of birthday cake.

Finally, it is Friday and the very last day of this term.  It has been such a brilliant term, lots of learning and new experiences but also lots of fun.

Today is a chill out day, we are going to watch a Christmas film, eat some chocolates and look forward to spending time over the break with family and friends.
