What an amazing time 11R had visiting Borwick Hall.
Day one …The weather was amazing which definitely helped.  We arrived and made our own lunch.
We followed maps, read signs and managed to get ourselves to the top of a very big hill to enjoy the view. While we tucked into our well earned packed lunch and rest.  After lunch we walked down the hill , it was a lot better than walking up! We followed our maps and safely returned to Borwick Hall and had a drink and a snack. Before getting on the mini bus and returning back to school.

Day Two… The weather was still amazing. We again made our own lunch and wrapped it. Then put it in our rucksack. 
We were given our maps and instructions and set off along the canal today. At lunch time we made hot chocolate using a stove out in the field. We all had to be very careful. Once made we added marshmallows yummy. Then as an extra special treat, we all got a visit to a cafe and enjoyed an ice cream . Then following our maps again we made our way back . After a drink and a snack we went onto the field and put up the tents . Great fun was had by all and everyone is looking forward to our next visit.
