Holiday Heroes - Thursday 10th August

Welcome to day 4 of Holiday Heroes and what a fantastic day we’ve had!

Group 1, our youngest group of children went on another trip to The Play Den in Burscough. This is a great play centre which we can book exclusively for our groups so the children can have lots of fun in a safe environment. Everyone had a brilliant on the play frame as well as investigating the toys in the play room. At lunchtime, everyone enjoyed sitting together to eat their packed lunches and the buffet food provided by the venue.

It was Group 2’s turn to go swimming this week at Nye Bevan pool in Skelmersdale. This activity is always a firm favourite - everyone loved playing, swimming, splashing and having lots of fun. After swimming, the group still had enough energy to play some games with the sports coaches from SportsCool back at school.

Our senior pupils had a very sporty day, the had a long afternoon session with the SportsCool coaches. They enjoyed playing rounders, dodgeball and frisbee. They also enjoyed cycling on the bike track, sensory room sessions, riding the scooters, didi cars and wobble boards in the hall as well as playing on the adventure playground and climbing frame.
