This week has been very busy but also enjoyable for the pupils and staff in 8P.
We have all been working hard during Phonics and English, concentrating on letter formation.
Our music and dance session was a great success as we took turns beating out a tune on a drum, and then making up our very own dance.
Food technology was very interesting as we made cakes topped with blue icing to help us celebrate jeans for genes. It was also great fun to eat the cakes later during our snack time.
Today we held a coffee morning in the school hall to raise money towards MacMillan cancer support. This is something that we do yearly, and it was great to see so many parents and carers sampling cakes and drinking coffee to raise money for such a good cause.
Finally, well done to Sofia for getting star of the week for ‘always trying your best’.
Have a lovely weekend. Ms Lea.
