We have been super busy this week in Oak class. On Monday, we had food tech, in food tech we all made sandwiches, some of us chose jam and some chose chocolate spread for our sandwiches, some of us tasted the sandwiches, it was such a yummy treat! In the afternoon we had PE together as a whole class, it was great to have a lesson as a full class. 

On Tuesday, we went to the park, as a whole class. We played on the swings, roundabout, slide, seesaw, trampoline and played in the sand. In the afternoon, we did music, one group played the drums to “thunder and lightening” and the other group explored different instruments and listened to “the music man”. 

On Wednesday some of us went to Asda, we got some things for snack time and then we enjoyed lunch in Asda cafe. On Wednesday afternoon, some of us did maths, we practiced counting, and recognised numbers.

On Thursday, we all went to the park again, and we all shared all of the equipment at the park and had a great time with our friends. In the afternoon we looked at stories, we looked at sequencing in a story. First, next, then and last. Some of us were able to put pictures in order and was able to see what happened first, next, then and last. 

On Friday we did phonics in the morning and then had golden time in the afternoon, we all played nicely with our friends!
