This week we have looked at how busy we have all been over the weekend and discussed what we have done and who we have seen. Our friends have all been busy this weekend. Group 1 went on their Monday community visit to the shops to buy our ingredients for cooking on Thursday with Miss Troughton. The group that stayed in school, did some lovely witches and wizards themed sensory play.

Group 1 swimmers excelled again this week at swimming. Watching the progress each week is incredible. The group that stayed in school enjoyed some number songs in class. The children did some really good concentrating when doing some work on their iPads before P.E this afternoon.

Group 2 enjoyed a lovely swim this week too, whilst the other group stayed in school and did some really great work in maths! We did some learning about what it means for something to be a liquid, solid or a gas. 8P did a super job in grouping together the different items, after watching an informative video.

We have enjoyed some sensory play in class and did some super cooking this week. Miss Troughton had a fantastic idea of making our very own caterpillar cake. We had the moulds to create the face and the little feet and wings. We had to melt chocolate carefully and spread the chocolate into the moulds as carefully as possible, trying not to make too much mess.

Friday was super fun in music, using all different instruments and practicing our marching, before getting the big drums out and using the beaters to make different sounds.

This week we have had 2 very special birthdays in class too, so we got to play some party games in class, which was super fun.
