What an exciting week we have had in 8P this week. We have been enjoying taking part in lots of Christmas themed activities. We have been doing some great practicing for the Christmas performance ready for next week. The children have been doing an incredible job with both their singing and signing!

Making Christmas cards, colouring Christmas themed pictures, making Christmas shapes using play doh and creating Christmas scenes with play doh too. The children have enjoyed reading Christmas stories with the staff and finding all the different items and different textured materials in our Christmas tuff trays, mark making in our fake snow tray as well as decorating our class Christmas tree!

We had our buffet dinner on Wednesday which was delicious and went down an absolute treat with all of the children! And then we were super lucky to get a visit from the cast of Dick Whittington for our very own special show and what a wonderful show it was!!
On Thursday, we had 2 special visitors (a cheeky elf and a turkey) who delivered our class Christmas lunches! The children really enjoyed their Christmas lunches (thank you to our wonderful kitchen staff) and had very full bellies. As well as it being our Christmas jumper day!

We have made Christmas tree cookies and have decorated them, ready to take home to eat. Yum, yum! We can’t believe there is only 1 more week until we break up for Christmas, and we cannot wait for more fun to be had next week.
