This week we have been celebrating the count down to Christmas, starting with our production on Monday. It was a fantastic display of all the talents we have in school. 10A really stepped up this year, taking on some of the roles of running the show, including being narrators, judges, props, runners and supporting with the tech. Everyone performed amazingly in our part of the show and supported the others classes during their performances.

On Wednesday we welcomed our parents into school for our 'Sharing our Learning'. It was our opportunity to show what we had been up to whilst at Bendrigg. We also decorated some donuts to make Christmas wreaths! Delicious!

Thursday saw a visit from Santa and his elves for breakfast, whilst some of wore our PJs. Santa brought everyone a present and had a nice chat with everyone, finding out what they wanted for Christmas. In the afternoon we had our final cooking lesson of the term - we made chicken tikka masala. It was another hit!

On Friday, we had another surprise visit from Santa's elves, as Santa had missed some presents so the elves brought them to us in the morning. We then watched 'The Santa Clause' before lunch. In the afternoon was golden time and celebration assembly. Our Stars of the Week this week were all of the learners who supported in the production. As already said, they all stepped up as these roles are normally taken by Year 11 but this year, we took over the roles and did a fantastic job doing so!

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing everyone back in 2025!
