We had such a busy few weeks before half term that we didn’t have time to put up a blog post! Here are some of the things 10P got up to:

We had more visits to the Life Centre at Chorley hospital to have a go at being patients and staff in their training ward.

All our learners have carried on improving their skills in the water at our weekly swimming lesson.

Amelia had a great time at her work experience at Embellished By Emily.

Half of 10P went to the Delta Hotel in Preston to get some work experience in hospitality. We learnt how to fold napkins, prepare a table for dinner service, and serve different drinks. We then went to see one of the hotel rooms and were shown how to make a bed.

We did lots more gardening work with Chorley In Bloom, both at their Community Garden and The Hub. We even had some help from a few of our parents!

Some of our learners have practised their independence skills shopping in Chorley town centre.

All our learners have been doing plenty of practise with our reading and writing skills and our number work.

To finish off the half term a couple of our learners went bowling on the rewards trip with Mr Welsh and some other secondary pupils.
