What a busy week in 8A. We have learnt about how to stay safe online and what to do if we are worried about something we see online. We also talked about what we would do in certain situations - such as if a friend was sending us unkind messages. Everyone was so mature and contributed to class discussion.
On Tuesday we visited the local community, shopping for breakfast items for the mornings in class.
On Wednesday some of the class accessed the local community again, this time to visit Chorley Library. We were challenged to find out information about the Iron Age. We managed to find a few books to help us and then logged on to the library computers to find more information.
On Thursday Mrs Lane’s 10 week old grandson came to visit 8A with his mummy. We have been learning about babies so had lots of questions about babies and wether it is easy or not being a parent. We then had a wonderful surprise when Miss Cross came back to visit us with her baby boy. We had lots of baby cuddles and everyone was so happy to see Miss Cross.
As next week is sports week we have been practicing running for the relay race. We think we have a super fast team and can’t wait to take part!
