We’ve had a busy couple of weeks in 11P!

We’ve had trips to ASDA to buy breakfast supplies and swimming lessons at Chorley leisure centre. Everyone has worked really hard at Chorley In Bloom preparing the gardens for the winter season and making willow wreaths. We have done lots of ASDAN work focusing on using technology in the home and in the community, including a trip to McDonalds to look at the technology we use there to order our food & drinks. We have done lots of work to prepare and set up our enterprise staff tuck shop. We looked at what options there were for drinks, crisps and snacks and how much we could sell them for to make a profit. We have taken turns picking and packing the staff orders and working out the totals that each person owes ready for collection. In Maths we have been looking at number & colour patterns and have also been learning our addresses and practising writing them down. In English we have continued our work on film & tv and written our thoughts and opinions about the trailer for Up. We all enjoyed a nice treat together at the MacMillan Coffee Morning too!
