This week on Thursday 5th March we celebrated World Book Day. Our theme this year was ‘Happily Ever After’. The teachers in our class dressed up as the 3 bears, but unfortunately our Goldilocks was missing.

We had lots of fun in class, designing and colouring bookmarks. Miss Molloy came to visit us in class to deliver a drama session. Miss Molloy gave us all jobs - such as teacher, gardener and bus driver. One of the class was secretly chosen to be a wolf and had to choose people to ‘eat’. We all had to discuss who we thought was the secret wolf and had to see if we could identify the wolf before everyone was ‘eaten’. We loved playing this game.

In the afternoon we went to a costume parade in the hall. We watched all of the classes show off their costumes - then it was our turn. Our very own Prince Charming won the costume parade in our class - winning a fantastic copy of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory book.

What a fantastic day we had for World Book Day.
