On Monday in maths we worked really hard and did some great problem solving. We also had a look at picture news and talked about the pros and cons of self driving taxis. Not many of us were keen on the idea of getting into a taxi without a driver. In the afternoon we practiced more computer skills learning how to send, forward and reply to emails. The class had a great time sending funny emails to Miss Bentham and each other on purple mash.

On Tuesday we completed maths on Education City and then completed some of our ASDAN work looking at how to work together as a team. In the afternoon we completed some end of year assessments ready for the end of term.

Wednesday we did an English practise paper to help us ready for next year - we all tried really hard on them. Then we had our swimming lesson, practicing our breast stroke, back stroke and jumping in from the side. In the afternoon we went to Tesco to buy all of the things we needed to make our bacon and sausage butties on Friday.

Thursday was our morning at Chorley in bloom. We potted up lots of plants ready to be sold at Chorley flower show and had fun building mud castles. In the afternoon we had our secondary awards. Well done to all of the learners that received awards. The whole of 10A has had a fantastic year and we are very proud of you.

Friday we made sandwiches for staff to raise money for prom, we always work together so well. In the afternoon a couple of us went on the reward trip while the rest of us stayed in school enjoying a film for golden time.

This weeks star of the week is Daniel for working hard during his practice papers this week. Well done Daniel
