Hello again, everyone!

I was having a nosey at everyone’s blogs to see what everyone has been getting up to while they’ve not been in school and stumbled across Mr Massey’s blog about what the 11G staff had been getting up to. I thought it was such a brilliant idea, so thanks Mr Massey- we are copying your idea!

We start off with Mrs Down- our new class teacher! Mrs Down will be teaching in 8G class on a Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday morning like Miss Heaton did. Here is what Mrs Down has been doing over the past few weeks:

Hello!

My family and I have been very busy these past few weeks. We have completed lots of jigsaws, some took days! Lots of lovely walks in the sunshine with our dogs Sid and Benjy, and Mr Down has made a birdhouse. I will keep you updated if any birds make it their home.

I have also been catching up on all the great things 8G have been doing at school and home this year, very impressive! Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to meet you all soon, Mrs Down.

Mrs England next…

I've had a busy week with Mr England and Jack. We've been on lots of walks with Toby and seen lots of cute baby animals, some ducklings on the canal and a lamb came to say hello when we walked past a field.

It was Toby's 2nd birthday, we didn't have a cake for him, so we put 2 candles in a sausage roll and sang Happy Birthday! Toby enjoyed eating the sausage roll.

Toby's favourite game at the moment is playing with the NERF gun, he's really good at it and brings the ball back to you.

We've been getting our garden summer ready and we've painted our decking, it was hard work and my legs ached when I had finished.

Stay Safe Everyone.

Now it’s Miss Aindow’s turn…

While you’ve all been busy exploring and learning from home, I’ve had an operation on my feet! I’ve had to rest a lot and not do very much walking, so Charlie has been looking after me every day. He’s been working very hard from home, making lots of designs on the computer. I’m now feeling a lot better and I can walk too, so we’ve been on a few walks down the canal to feed the ducks. There’s one Mummy duck with 19 ducklings! I’ve also been doing lots of baking. I’ve been baking brownies, banana bread, and Guinness cupcakes (Charlies favourite). I miss you all very much and can’t until we can all be back at school together.

And finally me, Mrs Fisher…

Jenson and Jaxon are enjoying being off school and nursery and “working from home” as they call it. We have been doing our daily mile every day with Mr Fisher too. I always walk but sometimes the boys go on their bike or scooter instead. Mr Fisher did some baking with Jenson and Jaxon- they’ve made some cookies and followed our Butterfly cakes recipe that we made just before school closed. I am very glad that the weather has been so nice as we have been playing out in the garden lots too. We have enjoyed watching the videos on our school YouTube channel and having a go at the activities at home. Working from home is something that I am slowly getting used to, but it doesn’t beat being in school with you all. I am missing you all lots and can’t wait for us to be back in school.

Hope you have enjoyed reading about what our class staff have been up to! Don’t forget to leave us a comment to tell us what you think.

Stay safe!

Mrs Fisher, Mrs Down, Mrs England and Miss Aindow.
