Happy Friday to all you 11G superstars and super fans!
I have some fabulous news to tell you all! (Drum roll!)
Miss Armstrong has had her baby! Jessa Rose Thomas was born on the 2nd of May at 6:33pm, weighing 8lbs 7oz. Miss Armstrong, Jessa and family are all at home, safe and well. She will send us some photos in the coming weeks to share with you all.
On behalf of 11G Congratulations Miss Armstrong! We are all so happy for you and your family xx
This week’s challenge was focused on communications and asked our learners to have a discussion with an adult and plan an end of lockdown party.
I was so happy to check my email this morning and get a wonderful video of Patrick explaining his plans. He had made a mind map to write down all his ideas and even added pictures which I’m sure helped him recall all the information when he explained his party plan.
Patrick then had a two-way conversation with his mum showing off his fabulous expressive (talking) and receptive (listening) skills. Patricks party sounded like great fun and included pizza, cake and dancing. Patrick said his party guests would be his grandparents.
Patrick this was excellent work! I think my party would be remarkably similar to yours.
As some of you know I have been on holiday this week. To fill my time my children asked me to make a treehouse in the garden. I have always wanted a treehouse since I was about 5 years old so it seemed like a good idea. I have nearly finished (just need to add the sides) there is a picture below showing my progress. Please share any ideas that you think would make it a super tree house.
Mrs Cobham has also had a much-needed week off. I gave her strict instructions to not do any schoolwork this week, so you will have to wait until next week to find out what she has been up to.
Well I hope you all enjoy the Bank Holiday.
Sending big hugs to Miss Armstrong and Family.
Missing you all
Keep Safe
Mr Massey
