Well it looks like another busy week has been had by 8R pupils and staff. But before we talk about what you have been up to I wanted to tell you that today is a special day for someone. Today  Friday 15th May, is Miss Zara's birthday and I know you will all be joining us to wish her a very happy birthday. We've made sure she has received her card and she will be getting a door step delivery later on today. I'm sure she will love what we have sent. So from all of us a huge Happy Birthday Miss Zara!!

Right lets see what you have been up to!

Faith has been working very hard at home. She spends every day writing her snack list out for the day. Then she works out how much it will cost and pays for her snacks. She's also trying to save some money so doesn't spend all of it.She has done some great work on feelings too and sent us the pictures. Fantastic work Faith!

 

Thomas has been making some sensory bottles. These look great. In one he has put sand and water and in the other glitter and spaghetti. I think that's a great activity for you all to try at home. These are so calming and will help your engines become just right.

All the staff have been very busy at home aswell. Mrs Devlin is still cooking whilst Mr Devlin is hard at work. I've made a Keema Pie and at Mr Devlin and Megan's request an afternoon tea. Check out the pics of my talents.  Archie the husky is being his usual naughty boy and chewed up my hair dye. Luckily he didn't actually eat any or we would have had to make a trip to the vets.

Mrs Clarke is very busy writing all your reports whilst looking after Jake and Annie and helping Jake with his school work. So she's doing two lots of school work. Poor Mrs Clarke.She also did a video training session with some of the staff to help them learn different ways to send you homework. Thank you Mrs Clarke that was really good. She's also turned into a hairdresser and trimmed Jake's hair. Well done Mrs Clarke.

Mrs Down has has been really busy checking all your work aswell as checking 8G's too. She has been helping Tom and Will with their homework( when she can get them off their XBox ) When she has finished working she has been enjoying walking with Sid and Benjy, gardening and watching some movies.

Miss Zara has been busy doing lots of online training.She is helping out shopping for her parents and she is helping her son with his work too. She's still enjoying exercising in her garden to keep fit.
