Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a good week enjoying some of the sunny weather!

It was Sports Week last week and it was lovely to see so many of you joining in with the activities. You all tried so hard! There will be an assembly this week which will reveal the certificates you received!

Let’s see what you have all been doing!

Katie

Katie has been in school this week and has taken part in some of the sports week activities. Katie was able to do the climbing, balloon, crazy golf and triathlon activities. Katie did well with these even when she found them difficult. She also had a go at a sensory circuit, took part in our class colour hunt video call and did an amazing drawing of Ariel from the Little Mermaid just from watching a video! Great work Katie!

Clayton

Clayton has also been in school this week. Clayton took part in some sports week activities as well. He did the warmup, throw and catch activity, climbing and the balloon challenge. Clayton also did some super talking and writing about sports activities, made his own twirly ribbon for the sensory circuit and took part in our class colour hunt video call! Clayton was good at finding items of the right colour very quickly! Amazing!

Joshua

Joshua did brilliant work with the sports week activities at home! He tried all the activities and thoroughly enjoyed himself! Joshua has also been busy making a smoothie, going on a leaf hunt, taking part in the class video call and continuing with his number work, reading and writing. I like how hard you tried with the triathlon cycling Joshua! You looked like you had lots of fun!

Eshan

Eshan also took part in all the sports week activities! He played throwing and catching with his brother, took part in the climbing activity and tried super hard to pop some bubbles too. On top of this, Eshan was able to make a smoothie, colour in the correct 2D shapes, and he enjoyed playing outside with his BB8 toy! Eshan also really enjoyed our colour hunt video call! Amazing work Eshan!

Harry

Harry has fully embraced sports week and has also completed all the activities. Harry went on a very long walk as his warmup for the week. He also challenged himself with each of the activities as some of them were a little tricky, particularly the climbing one! Harry also went on a leaf hunt, went to the beach and did some jumping on the trampoline with his mum. Harry made a very yummy looking smoothie as well! Great work Harry!

Mrs Webb

Mrs Webb has been busy working from home but had her doggies as some helpers! She also went on a long walk with them. Mrs Webb filmed a video for sign of the day. I wonder if you can spot it?

Miss Hendy

I have been very busy working from home this week so sadly I don’t have any pictures. I really enjoyed our colour hunt video call this week. You all tried hard. I have also loved seeing all the pictures of you doing lots of sporty activities this week!

Mrs Mahood and Miss McPartlin

Mrs Mahood and Miss McPartlin have been busy in school this week! They have worked hard and have had a go at some of the sports week challenges as well. Miss McPartlin went to go and see her mum as it was her birthday. Mrs Mahood has done some more baking and been spending some time in her garden.

Well done everyone for all your hard work this week. I’m looking forward to the parents consultations this week, where I will be talking to all your parents and carers and telling them how well you have all done this year!

Stay Safe!
