Well what a very busy week we have had again. We had a great Teams Video call where we had another quiz. We had lots of laughs with the photo round. We had to try and identify some of our teachers just from part of a photograph. It was nice to see each other on the video and find out what we have all been up to.
Tyler has sent some pictures to Mrs Clarke to show her his project. Check out the pictures to see his fantastic woodwork skills. He has been making his own guitar and safely using drills and soldering irons.. He has learnt a lot about how important PPE is and how dangerous some tools can be like a circular saw. We all think that Tyler has challenged his energy and concentrated really hard to complete this project. We are very proud of what you have achieved Tyler.
Thomas has been very busy and has sent us lots of photographs of his six star challenges. I love the song choice Thomas, who doesn't love George Ezra? The positivity pebbles really made me smile, especially the bee. He also made a chocolate cake with mum but I wonder how much cake is left? It wouldn't last long in most houses. The photographs of the cyclists you spotted through the window are brilliant, you and mum have protected their identity well! Fantastic work Thomas.
Robyn and Michael have had a busy week, they have been practicing yoga, which did cause lots of laughter especially the pose where we had to stick out our tongues! Michael especially liked the Warrior pose. They have created some lovely pieces of art using natural materials they collected outside. The rainbow in a jar experiment made us smile too. They looked lovely when we sat them in the window to let the different colours show through. In cooking this week we made a hot pot and they both safely used the hob, sharp knives and the oven. The hot pot got a thumbs up from them both and they took some extra portions home to share. As part of the six week challenge they helped to wash, dry and put away the equipment. Mr Murphy has set Michael an extra challenge too, he has a virtual climb to complete. He is using his Fitbit to record the steps he does in school and then we fill in the record sheet. The rain today may mean he doesn't get too many steps in but I'm sure he will still try his best. So far he's nearly climbed Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis. I wonder if anyone else would like to do this challenge?
We hope you enjoy looking at our photographs. Have a wonderful weekend everyone and here's hoping the rain goes away.
