We had had another awesome week in Maple class! This well we have be thinking about ways that we are the same and different. We all listened to and joined in with a sensory story about all the ways in which we are different. We used mirrors to look at our faces and we each had our own hairbrush to brush our hair. Some of us had long hair and some of us had short - some had blonde hair and some brown and black. We tasted different fruits and saw that we all have our own favourites! George loved grapes but Andrew didn't. Rian loved the strawberries and Scarlett loved them all! There are ways that we are the same and lots of ways that we are different too - and different is good!

This week we all took part in a group activity with the teachers help. We sat at our group table and followed instructions to make face biscuits. We added smartie eyes and noses, sweetie lips and strawberry laces for hair! We also made rainbow hand prints and counted our hands and fingers.

We have really enjoyed playing outside in the sunshine too. We explored the water tray with jugs and sponges, rode the bikes and enjoyed a much needed ice lolly to keep us cool once the fun had finished.

Next week, Maple class will be focusing on Nursery Rhymes!
