Wow, it has been an incredibly busy and very festive week for all of the staff and pupils in 11G. Here are just a few of the things that we got up to last week.

We all took part in an attention autism session run by Mrs Powell which was based around....Christmas  (of course). Mrs Powell talked about giving and receiving presents and then she very carefully wrapped up a present before we all had a go at unwrapping our own presents before rewrapping them. Some pupils used wrapping paper whilst other pupils used plain paper and cut out then stuck pictures onto their own presents thus practising fine motor skills.

We used our very own green screen in class for pupils to stand in front and say their narration piece which will be used during our very special online production...the green screen will portray a winter scene onto the background....it’s very magical how it works  but then it IS  coming up to Christmas and magic is in the air.

A few of our parents took part in our sharing our learning session and we all had a go at an online quiz which was great fun. Later on that day all the pupils took part in an online interactive pantomime which they really enjoyed.

Our class Christmas dinner was a great success and the kitchen staff did us proud. It was a very different affair to what we normally do but was still really lovely and a great festive atmosphere.
The class Christmas party took place with all of the staff and pupils dressed up in their best party clothes and lots of party food was consumed before we all settled down to watch a film complete with juice and popcorn.

Congratulations to our very own Nathan for receiving Star of the week...very well deserved.

Take care everyone. Ms Lea
