We were worried that the weather was going to be wet but the sun shone and the students had a fantastic time, showing their head for heights. It was great to see them putting mind over matter as they scaled the tree climb and held their nerve balancing on the crate stack. After a lovely lunch, we kitted out in wetsuits and headed for the lake. We began with kayaking, learning how to use the paddles to move forward and backwards and to turn. We then played paddle limbo and raced around the bouys. For the final activity, we clambered aboard the XL paddle boards. We had a wet board for those of us that were really adventurous. For those that preferred a chillout, we had a dry board. The students showed determination throughout and it was fantastic to see them helping each other to climb out of the water back on to the boards. It was a great afternoon and we were all cold and tired by then end but had a fantastic fun-filled afternoon. After tea tonight - the night walk!!!
