This week we’ve had a great week and on Friday we’ve learned all about Genes and we wore our own clothes and brought a donation for the Jeans for Genes charity which helps lots of families.

Mrs Tolan showed us a PowerPoint and a video about a young man called Ashley who has Treacher Collins Syndrome, and we talked about how we are different and how we are the same. Robyn remembered that we had read the book Wonder and watched the film which is all about a boy called Auggie who has Treacher Collins Syndrome.

We all talked contributed to “I am proud to be different because…” 

This afternoon we had a special visitor - Coco our school dog came to visit, she had a really good sniff and went to look at everyone. Robyn said she made her feel relaxed, Sarah said she looked like a teddy bear and Michael said she was brilliant, some of us took her for a short walk and then Sarah took her back to Mrs Millard.
