On Monday 9G has been learning how to write their names and been finding the letters needed to make up their name.
Tuesday morning Mrs Mahood delivered my creativity and helped the class to make invites for 9G McMillan coffee day on Friday. Well done for following step by step instructions and making lovely invites.
In the afternoon our play dough gym was the staff’s favourite, the 80s…
For me and my body activity, 9G went outside and played PE bingo.
The children had to copy the activity before crossing it off their bingo card.
There was touching toes, star jumps and hopping just naming a few.
Wednesday, you found 9G baking some cakes ready for the McMillan coffee event on Friday. We made some chocolate cakes. In two groups, 9G followed verbal instructions and measured and stirred in all ingredients needed.
In the afternoon some of 9G did some sorting. They sorted out what was ingredients and what was equipment. Others wrote out how they made the cakes and the rest wrote out all ingredients used, equipment and the method.
Well done to all for making fabulous cakes.
On Thursday morning in our My Communication the class discussed what made a good friend. In small groups, the class did some sorting out of picture and placing them into Being a good friend and Not being Good friend. Good understanding was shown but we will carry on working on this topic.
In the afternoon the class made more cakes ready for our McMillan coffee event. Again, 9G measured out and did some good mixing.
On Friday 9G hosted our McMillan coffee events.
A huge thank you for your donations and coming along to support this fantastic charity.
