This week 9G have been super busy.

We have focussed on our one kind words this week. We talked all about how we could be a good friend and the different things we could say to our friends to make them happy. 
We all came up with some really good ideas about how we could be a good friend and wrote them in some really good sentences. We also played some matching the socks games and on Monday lots of us wore odd socks! 
We enjoyed listening to everyone’s stories about their weekends and Ms Carter told us all about how she had dressed up as a Santa and did a realllllllyyyy long walk through Chorley. She even got a medal because she was a super Santa!

On Monday it was also Reece’s birthday! Reece kindly brought in some cakes for us all to have and even a little treat for everyone! So we sung happy birthday to him and played some party games! Katie was our winner of magical statues! She was amazing!

The rest of our week we have been doing some really good work.

We have been looking at our numbers in our maths lessons and used some dice to make up our very own sums. Then we worked out the sums using some counters and some number lines. We did such good number work! Miss Brophy also set us a challenge to answer questions about how full a cup was and to see if we could fill up a cup to, full, half full and empty. She challenged Jacob to fill the cup up to ‘empty’ and Jacob did some good thinking and knew that he didn’t need to add any water and that Miss Brophy was tricking him! 

We have also been super scientists this week! We have been looking all about solids and liquids and did some exploring of different items this week. Miss Brophy gave us lots of different items and asked us to explore them and decide what they were, if they were a solid or liquid and describe them a little bit. We all did super work and identified loads of different items!

Also Tyler decided that he was going to be the teacher this week so Miss Brophy sat back with a cup of tea while Tyler reminded everybody about their one kind words. Tyler did a really good job but then decided it was a bit too hard work and handed back over to Miss Brophy.

After all this hard work we are definitely ready for a nice chilled weekend!
