Celebrating the year of the tiger in 11G

What a fun day we’ve had today in 11G-

We talked about the festivals that we celebrate- before looking at celebrations in other cultures- as today is Chinese New Year- The Year of the Tiger!
Most of our class were born in the year of the Rooster- and some in the Year of The Dog- Miss Robertson is a Rooster and Mrs McShane a Rabbit!

We did lots of crafts- looking at the significance of the colours red and gold!
Calum looked at the Chinese alphabet and tried doing some Chinese writing- he found out that there was no letter ‘u’ so his name became Calm- he thought this was very funny!
