Saturday Run in The Park


 

Chorley School Sports Partnership Astley Park Run 26th March 2022.

After being prepared to train each week at school, the day of the run at Astley Park arrived for Alex, Mason, Noah and Alex M. Their Challenge was for each to compete in the run, represent APS and finish without stopping on the 1 mile course. The run around the grass perimeter of Astley Park was organised by CSSP S part of their annual cross country event and allowed the APS team to join in with a number of other local schools. I’m please to announce that all four team members finished the course without stopping, achieving their personal challenge and positively representing APS. The pictures illustrate the determination and effort that all four pupils committed to finishing the run and the personal satisfaction they gained from competing.
