10R have been busy this week making fairy cakes for the Macmillan Coffee Morning today! Everyone worked together to make the cakes and decorate them to help raise some money for a wonderful charity and to have a chance to enjoy all of the brilliant baking that's been done across the school this week.

We used our Maths and English skills when doing our baking; both to read the instructions and to be able to measure our ingredients accurately. We also started looking at Personal Safety in the Home (one of our ASDAN units) when it came to using the electric whisk and we talked about how to be safe when using electrical devices.

Everyone did such a great job and worked so well together to produce some absolutely delicious cakes!
