This week in Oak class we have been exploring India, we have painted flags using the colours of India’s flag,   We have made some lovely colourful Rangoli patterns using the numicon, and we’ve read the story ‘The runaway chapati’, using play dough to roll out our own chapati. We had a sensory story with ‘Walking through the jungle’ using some lovely listening and engagement.
This week in food tech we cut our kiwi and scooped out the insides to eat for snack. They tried very hard, using some fab cutting skills and using the spoon to manipulate the contents.

This weeks word of the week is ‘Stop’, we incorporated this into our parachute game, balloon blowing and road safety, listening for the word as we did our activities. ‘STOP’ this has also been very useful when doing our bikeability and we’ve been dancing to a freeze song, ‘stopping’ when we freeze.

Some amazing single exchange this week using the instruments and building a potato head. Well done everyone, an amazing week.
