8P show racism the red card

This week in 8P we celebrated show racism the red card day. The class took part in lots of class learning about different people and how being different is ok. The whole class made great contributions  to a class discussion about different skin,eye,hair and clothes. We talked about how it’s never ok to bully people who are different and how lucky we are to go to school at APS as everyone is kind to each other. 
We went swimming and had a play day at the pool as it was our last swim session of the term. 
Weather walks continued and the class have now got lots of different pictures of the trees changing and the leaves colours changing too. 
Today we say goodbye to Miss Armes who has been working on supply with us since September, she will be moving to a new class after half term. We thank her for all her hard work and kindness and wish her well in her new class. 
Our star of the week this week is Sophia for being kind and always working hard, especially in our equally lesson. Super well done Sophia!
