Today in KS4 it was our second 'My Choices' day and this time were centring it around Earth Day. In the morning we watched a video that told us all about Earth Day - when it was, when it was created and why we celebrate this event. We learnt different ways we can help our planet, including recycling, planting trees and using less electricity.

After this it was time for the Year 10s and 11s to go to the class for the subjects they had chosen. In 10R we had art and drama, as well as some ICT, as we had decided to make a collage of the world and turn it into a stop-motion video. We started off by cutting up lots of green and blue paper into little pieces so we could use it to make the collage. We then glued all of our paper and tissue paper to a big drawing of the world, in sections, and everyone took it in turns to take photos of our progress to use in the stop-motion. 

We worked in two teams to make two of the collages and to also have two different videos at the end. Everyone worked really hard and said that they thought the finished collages and stop-motion videos turned out great. The videos should soon be up on our youtube channel so don't forget to check them out.
