This week in 8P we enjoyed Farmfest.
Allday Farm visited school and bought lots of different animals in for everyone to see, there were lambs, sheep and a pony outside on the field. A few of us had some great questions for the farmer about the animals, where they live, how old they were, what they eat? Everyone listened intently to the answers given. We were allowed to stroke all the animals but we had to make sure we washed our hands afterwards.
8P’s favourites were the baby goats.
Later on we went into the hall and got to sit down on the hay bales and look at the smaller animals. We were allowed to hold and stroke the hen and the rabbit.
We also got to stroke the chinchilla, it was very cute, guinea pig and help hold the snake.
Everyone had a great day with the animals although we couldn’t decide which was our favourite.
This week we also said goodbye to Mrs James as she went off on another adventure. She very kindly bought us ice creams which we all enjoyed. We hope she has a fantastic time and I’m sure we will see her again soon.
