Another week has flown by in Willow class, please read on to learn about some of the fantastic work we’ve been doing…….
In My Communication, we have started to focus on our handwriting and letter formation, everyone enjoyed getting their fingers warmed up for writing with Play-dough Gym. We loved learning about different emotions through “The Colour Monster” story. We have also been looking at The Green Cross Code to help us cross the road safely. We are still focusing on money work in our numeracy lessons and are building some great counting and adding skills. We learned about Remembrance Day and made some beautiful Poppy collages. On Friday, whilst some of the class went swimming, the others marked Remembrance Day by listening to The Last Post played by Mrs Challoner and having a minutes silence. We then made biscuits and decorated them with fabulous fondant icing poppies.
