Christmas final week in 8A

This week has been all about Christmas and we have made time to calm and relax after a busy half term. We have watched a great Christmas film “Polar Express”.

It was also the secondary production of our Christmas play this week. 8A was amazing at singing and signing to Mariah Carey’s “ All I want for Christmas is you“.  They smashed it! They were so brave, standing up in front of an audience preforming the song. We were super proud of them all. Well done!

We also had a visitor or two that came to see 8A on Thursday.

We had the big man himself, Father Christmas along with his two elves (aka Mr Welsh and Mrs Wells).

The class received a present each from Father Christmas and also had their picture with him.

After Father Christmas had handed out his presents to 8A learners, it was time for him to go to the next class.

Miss Robertson kindly let the learners open up their presents, one by one. It was lovely to see their smiley faces when they discovered what they had been given. Santa picked exactly what they all wanted!

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

See you all in 2024!
