Pupils and staff in 8P have returned back to school, refreshed and ready for lots of learning and fun.
This week, we have been taking part in lots of different activities, including maths where we have been beginning to learn about money and all the different types of coins, as well as our number work.
In Phonics, we have been doing lots of segmenting and blending, concentrating on all of the different types of sounds.
During our weekly cookery lesson, we prepared and made jam sandwiches, using margarine and a choice of two types of jam: strawberry and apricot. What a lovely sticky treat it was.
We didn’t manage to go out on our usual community visit on Wednesday, due to the rain, so instead we had a really fun lesson learning all about road safety, while staying warm and dry in our classroom.
What a fun and busy week we have had.
