This week in Maths we have finished our topic of data and statistics, we split into groups and looked at charts, line graphs, pictograms and collecting and reading data. On Monday we started making our world war 2 planes to show parents and carer’s when they come in for sharing our learning next week.
On Tuesday in my communication we started looking at newspaper articles and looking at some of the characteristics we could identify in them. We also continued with our music lesson in the afternoon playing some of the music we have decoded.
On Wednesday had had our community visit to Asda where we picked up all of the things we needed for our food tech lesson this week and next week. Thursday was World Downs syndrome day. We had a look at things that make us unique and then we researched Down’s syndrome to find out for our selves what Down syndrome was. We did some great work and even remembered some of the information when the teachers asked on Friday. In the afternoon we had food tech and we made spam hash from the World war 2 rationing recipe book. It got a big thumbs up.
On Friday we researched and made notes on World war 2 ready for writing our newspaper articles next week. We also looked at ways we can help others. We designed our favourite meal and talked about how we would make someone feel if we gave them our meal when they had no food.
In the afternoon we had golden time and celebration assembly. In celebration assembly we found out that Ben was our star of the week this week. Ben is star of the week for confidently collecting data and turning it into bar charts. Well done Ben.

Have a lovely weekend.
