On Tuesday 8A did lots of egg-ercise when hunting for their eggs on their Easter egg hunt. They did an egg-cellent job when using their map work to search for their hidden egg. Using directions to help them they found all 11 egg faces. Then when they got back they got egg-xactly what they wanted- Easter eggs. What a cracking day 8A.

On Wednesday it was our Food Tech lesson.

As it’s nearly Easter, we couldn’t miss out on doing something egg-citing.

So it was “Chocolate Rice Crispy Nests”.

There were no yolking around in food tech today.

8A hatched a plan on how to make them. They looked at the ingredients and worked out how to make them.

We then melted the chocolate in the microwave and added a couple of handfuls of rice crisps, some of 8A added in some eggs-tra handfuls.

There were loads of egg-heads in 8A when working out what they had to do.

8A then had to half their mixture and put them in cup cake cases and topped them off with mini eggs.

It was an eggs-hausting activity.

8A had one for their snack and they took one home.

And to egg the week off, we had a visit from a tiny little bunny, form of Miss McPartlin new baby, Abigail.

8A was so delighted to see Miss McPartlin and her new baby. In turn, the learners came up and said hello.

Happy Easter to you all from 8A team.

That's all for today, yolks!
