7Ps first week..

 

A huge welcome to our new 7P learners and their families.

It was lovely seeing the learners starting their new chapter in secondary in their grey jumpers. It made them look a year older!

 

What great fun we have had this week getting to know each other. 

We have done lots of making, mixing, tasting and looking at new things.

 

At the beginning of the week we learnt to make salt dough by mixing flour, salt and water to form a dough. We got a little messy whilst making the dough, but 7P did amazing kneading the dough. They then made their faces from the dough.

Next we did lots of mixing. We mixed together a biscuit and fairy cake. What great turn taking skills 7P have. 

Next we did some tasting of the cakes and biscuits, which I think was enjoyed by all. We do hope you all enjoyed your samples of 7Ps biscuits and cakes. (That’s if they didn’t get eaten before they got home ! )

7P got to look at and go on their very own class iPad. These iPads will support the learners with some of their lessons within class. They took a photo of themselves and put it on their home page so they know which is their iPad.

 

We have all had a lovely first week, getting to know each other and getting used to their new surroundings.
