Today Year 11 visited Beacon Fell. What a lovely late summer day we chose to explore some lovely countryside.

Before we left we all had a chance to have a look online and we wrote a mind map of the things we would like to see and do whilst at the park. 
 

As we began our walk we began to discover some of the things we had written JJ spotted a large snake, then Teddy found a dragon fly and Owen found an owl.

We also enjoyed the beautiful views, trees and magical “fairy glens” that we saw.

JJ recreated a photograph he has seen on line by lying on the floor of the forest and taking a photograph of the canopy of the trees.
