Another fantastic week in 7A!
This week we have tried grapefruit as our new food in class. We were really impressed that so many learners decided to try this new fruit, especially because some people have never tried it before. There were mixed reviews, ranging from 0/10 up to 10/10!
Pupils have worked really hard in their reading assessments this week and they will be taking their reading books home for the first time this weekend.on Wednesday we had a day of celebrations to acknowledge our Outstanding Ofsted status. We had inflatables in the hall and on the field. Our favourite was the Jungle run. We then had a party complete with party food in the afternoon. We all went home full, exhausted and happy!
In PE we used lots of movement and coordination skills to complete a circuit of activities in the hall including playing tennis, skipping, stepping on a bench, throwing hoops and catching a ball in a cone. We really enjoyed the ‘balls and cups’ game!
On Friday, William showed us the trailer for a show he is making on Scratch. We absolutely loved watching it and we can’t wait to watch the episodes when they are ready!
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend and lots of rest ready for another week of learning and fun.
