Annual Awards ceremony 2024

Three pupils from 11A and myself represented APS at the Annual Awards ceremony hosted by Chorley School Sports Partnership held at Chorley Town Hall. 

APS had been invited to the event having received a nomination for an award under the banner of Bikeability as The Most Improved School.

Bikeability visit our school every year to deliver a programme of cycle training ranging from balanced biking in primary up to Level 2 in the secondary phase. This is a very important life skill for our pupils that APS very such appreciates being delivered to our pupils.

The event was a great success in celebrating the sporting achievements across the Chorley Area and I am delighted to say that APS was successful in winning the top award for The Most Improved Award !! 

This reflects the efforts of all the pupils and staff who support the Bikeability sessions in school every year and promote this important skill.
