This week was a very exciting start to the week. Our new teaching assistant Miss Donley started this week, and what a great member of staff to add to our already amazing 8P class. We have all enjoyed getting to know Miss Donley and Miss Donley has really enjoyed getting to know all of us too! 

We have shared some weekend news to start the week. We have done lots of incredible reading this week, and the progress each child has made already this half term. And the children have worked super hard when doing our maths. Working 1-1 with staff as well as completing different math problems and number activities as a group in class. We used our witches and wizards materials to practicing measurements. 

We have done some bonfire themed activities this week to celebrate bonfire night and spoken about how to keep safe when visiting a bonfire. We have done mark making activities using a variation of different materials. 

A group of children from class have worked on being respectful in circle time, and using a bear to know when it is their turn to talk. Talking about important things like where public and private places are and what is public and private. Internet safety has also been part of our topic this week.
