What a busy week beech class have had this week!
To begin the week, we celebrated bonfire night. Throughout our continuous provision, we explored a variety of sensory materials, made marks in flour and enjoyed making our own firework rockets! During attention autism, we watched Mrs Barrand create our own bonfire and had a turn at ‘roasting’ marshmallows whilst watching the fireworks on the screen! We loved having a taste!
On Wednesday and Thursday, we began to look at autumn. We explored different types of leaves, pine cones and conkers. During our adult-led activities, we enjoyed making leaf prints and using a fork to create spikes for the hedgehog.
On Friday, beech class engaged in Remembrance Day activities. We explored poppies using red glitter, played in red sand and decorated our own poppies using the dabbers!
Have a lovely weekend.
