In 9A we have been starting to learn about ‘coding’ in our Computing lesson. Pupils learned all about giving good instructions and how someone can misunderstand instructions that are given. They then took turns giving their friends (who could not see where they were going) instructions and directions to move around the classroom safely avoiding obstacles. We have also learned more about keeping safe when we are online.

In circle time we have worked on speaking and listening with a partner learning all about their favourite things and sharing what we had found out with the rest of the group.

In Art we learned about  another artist. To start with we recapped all the information we have learned about the different artists we have looked at over the last few weeks. Staff were so impressed with all the information that pupils remembered about what they had learned.
This week we have learned all about Yayoi Kusama who is a modern Japanese artist who loves to paint using dots. Pupils then made their own designs using dots of paint and really enjoyed it, they were really engaged and relaxed.

We have also started some road safety lessons. To begin with we have practised in school with pupils remembering about giving good instructions to direct their friends across the road safely. In PE we have started ‘invasion games’ which will be football. We have started by practising some fun games in the hall.
