On Monday 11th November, Astley Park School participated in Remembrance Day activities and traditions.
Throughout school, learners were provided many learning opportunities and activities to experience and learn all about Remembrance Day.
We saw learners enjoying various activities from exploring colours and textures related to Remembrance Day symbols, to learning facts about Remembrance Day through PowerPoints, videos and stories.
All learners and staff in school were also invited to join in a one minutes silence and listen to Mrs Chaloner play the “Last Post”. It was fantastic to see staff and learners join up outside and be so respectful during this time.
We hope everyone had a wonderful day participating in activities. Please take a look at some of the pictures of our Remembrance Day activities and check out individual class blogs too, to see what everyone got up to.
