Continuing on with our learning about the Pendle witches today we visited Pendle Hill and re created the walk that the women were made to do. We were very lucky with the sun shining although it was cold, and this made us think about the accused ladies walking, probably in bare feet all that way!!!
After our walk up Pendle Hill we then made the trip to Clitheroe Castle to experience what it would be like to be imprisoned in a cold dark place, we chatted about how there were no windows and you wouldn’t be able to see. We also thought about how we would have little food to eat and we thought it might be scary.
What a lovely day and experience, well done 11A a great achievement getting up the hill.
