These last 2 weeks we have done some really great work in 8P!!
We have been working on our knowledge of money, recognising the coins and notes and starting to understand the true value of money. Putting them in size order (of value). Learning about money can be tricky, but our learners have been doing a great job.
Reading through our circus sensory story, all taking part and joining in well. Listening, feeling and looking at the different things we could find in a circus. It is super exciting!!
Focusing on our reading and letter formations which helps us when creating our posters for VE Day. We listened carefully to Mrs Pope talk to us about why VE Day is important, and why we celebrate it. We then created VE Day poster, to tell people what special day it is!
We have had some lovely weather come to us in our outdoor area which has helped us be able to enjoy some well deserved water play in the outdoor area.
We have been learning about printing with Ms Troughton. Looking at different colours, and different textures to print. This has consisted of finding things in the outdoors, travelling safely around school to find different patterns in different places and then in class. Using animals cut outs to be able to use to print on to our paper. The children have been doing an incredible job with these!
2 of our learners attended the swimming gala during this time to, and between them won 6 medals!! WOW, we are super proud of our incredible swimmers.
